All rodents have incisors (two front teeth) that continue to grow throughout their lives and the capybara must gnaw and chew to wear these teeth down. Capybara incisors are yellow. When the incisors are in use, the other teeth aren’t and vice versa.

Capybara's Habitat
Capybara can be found in Central and South America, living in woods with dense vegetation around lakes, rivers and swamps. A capybara’s habitat must include a constant source of water. The water source is very important for any capybara as it is used for shelter, food and mating.
