Swim Bladder

Swim bladder or air bladder is an internal organ possessed by most bony fish. It is a tube or a bag of gas (usually oxygen) that helps fish float.

Not all fishes have a swim bladder. Sharks, for example, do not have a swim bladder.

The swim bladder also produces sound by vibrating. However, these sounds can only be heard by another fish.
