Elephant

Elephant is the largest living land animal. This mammal has good hearing and strong sense of smell. An elephant has big and sensitive ears.

Its trunk doubles as its hand, which is sensitive to touch. The trunk is also used to get water and food. An elephant breathes through two nostrils at the end of its trunk.

Elephant has a weak eyesight. It can only see clearly within the range of three to six metres.

Turtle is a reptile. A turtle has a strong, hard shell protecting its body. A turtle has legs which act as oars. A turtle has a beak and has no teeth. A turtle, like all other reptiles, breathe through the lungs. A turtle needs to go to the surface to breathe.

Turtle spends most of its live in the sea. However, the adult female turtle returns to the shore to reproduce. A turtle can lay between 70 – 170 eggs at any one time. Malaysia is one of the most popular spot where turtles reproduce.
